The leading rail freight transport company in Hungary and the Central European region was founded eighteen years ago. The group of companies engaged primarily in rail freight transport, including dangerous, overweight, oversized goods, has built a transport corridor from Serbia to the German border.

Today, the CER Group is present in seven countries (Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Austria, Romania, Poland), with 11 own and 8 leased locomotives, including 4 brand new Siemens Vectron, with nearly 160 employees.
Recognizing the importance of digitalisation, the Group is working on the continuous development of its own corporate governance information system (RIS). It is already used in Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The following developments are currently underway:
- extension of use to other member companies (localizations)
- completion of the first priority milestone of sales and controlling support modules
- development of modules supporting optimization of operation
